Our Hemp
All of the hemp we use to produce our CBD oil is grown in the United States on our Colorado-based organic farm. Our hemp plants are grown and cultivated for a period of four months until the hemp is ready for harvesting and moving onto processing into hemp liquid extract at our processing facility in Palmer Lake, Colorado.

Our Extraction Process
There are a few ways to extract CBD from the hemp plant. One very popular way is carbon dioxide extraction. Another method to create hemp liquid extract is extraction by ethanol. We believe that neither of these methods is the best way to maintain the integrity of the hemp plant. Both methods risk ruining the genetic makeup of the hemp plant.
Extraction with carbon dioxide requires special training and special equipment that is quite expensive. Because all equipment needs to be sterilized after each extraction, the process is time-consuming and expensive, forcing companies to pass the cost onto their customers.
Ethanol extraction is an even slower extraction method because it has a higher boiling point. Although safer than carbon dioxide extraction, the risk of human error is much higher. These errors result in a compromised product.
We use a no-pressure, cold, sub-zero Kosher alcohol to obtain our hemp extract. This process keeps the genetic makeup of the hemp plant intact, preserving all of the beneficial cannabinoids and terpenes that add to the effectiveness of CBD oil. Our cold, sub-zero extraction process creates a clean full-spectrum extract with minimal plant material. The result is hemp liquid extract that has a high CBD yield of between 60%-70%. This means that we are able to produce high-quality products that use less oil resulting in better taste and efficacy. The only solvent that comes in contact with our material is Kosher alcohol, which gives us clean oil that has no leftover chlorophyll or plant lipids while keeping the natural terpenes of the hemp plant.
Full-Spectrum Hemp Extract
Most of what we produce is Full-Spectrum hemp liquid extract. This means that CBD oil contains all of the cannabinoids present in the hemp plant, not just CBD. One of those cannabinoids is THC, a psychoactive cannabinoid typically associated with hemp. However, per federal law, our products, along with all CBD products sold in the United States contain a trace amount of THC; 0.3% or less. Full-Spectrum hemp extract also contains valuable vitamins and fatty acids that add to the efficacy of the hemp extract.
