CBD Distillate

Pure CBD Distillate for Sale

You may have seen CBD distillate for sale in cannabis stores or even CBD distillate wholesale online, but what is CBD distillate, exactly? What’s the difference between CBD isolate and CBD distillate, and which should you buy if you’re looking for the most benefits? At RAD Extracts, our goal is to provide you with the right information to make the best choice for you.

What is CBD Isolate?

CBD isolate is simply pure CBD. It contains only the CBD cannabinoid, and all other parts of the hemp plant have been removed, including any trace amounts of THC. Once extracted, CBD isolate can then be sold as a powder made from ground-up CBD isolate crystals or secured in a carrier liquid such as medium-chain triglyceride (MCT), olive oil, hemp seed oil, or avocado oil for use in producing edibles such as gummies, chocolate, beverages, and more.

What is CBD Distillate?

CBD distillate is highly concentrated and, unlike CBD isolate, contains most of the cannabinoids that make up the hemp plant. CBD Distillate is created by distilling the Full Spectrum hemp extract. As the name suggests, CBD distillate has been distilled in an effort to clean up low quality full spectrum extract, with most of the highly refined distillate testing at around 70-80% CBD. As a result of the distillation process, CBD distillate offers a high potency concentrate that is gold in color. Distillate is often used when the color or taste of the end product is important. The more that the hemp plant is processed and refined, the more benefits are lost. Through distillation many of the terpenes and flavonoids are lost in the refinement process, which creates a better tasting and smelling product, but it comes with a price of losing those beneficial properties.

CBD Isolate Vs. Full Spectrum CBD Extract Vs. CBD Distillate for Sale: Which Should You Buy?

If your goal is to bring about the entourage effect, whereby all of the cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids contained within the hemp plant are strengthened by the presence of each other in the finished product, then Full Spectrum CBD extract may be the better choice for you. However, if your goal is to provide a better tasting product or maintaining the light color of your finished product then CBD distillate or pure CBD isolate may be better options.
